Val di Fiemme hosts the Roller Ski World Cup Finals
Three non-stop thrilling days from September 8th to 10th
World Cup starts in Kazakhstan with its first stage from July 13th to 16th
Good job from Italy during the first stage of “Coppa Italia Next Pro”

After the summer camp of the Senior National Italian Roller Ski team, Val di Fiemme has recently welcomed the youth team, which has been training in the calm valley in Trentino, Italy. During season 2023, Val di Fiemme hosts the final stages of the Roller Ski World Cup, with its typical three days-competitions from September 8th to 10th with a Mass Start and a Sprint in Ziano di Fiemme, and finally the iconic climb up to Alpe Cermis.
This year Italy turns out to be even more central to the international scenery of the so-called “summer cross-country skiing”. The 2023 World Championships have been recently re-assigned to Italy, specifically to Lazzate and Lissone (in the region of Lombardia) after Estonia renounced. The competitions take place from August 10th to 13th.
The countdown is on and in less than a month, from July 13th to 16th, the World Cup is finally happening with Kazakhstan hosting the first stage.
As far as the Italian season is concerned, last weekend officially started the “Coppa Italia Next Pro” with the World Champions Emanuele Becchis and Matteo Tanel showing off and winning.
Val di Fiemme in 2021 has been good to the Italian Team: during the “home” World Championships, they were able to won many medals, celebrating in the end as the best nation of the tournament.
On Sunday September 10th, Alpe Cermis is assigning the Crystal Globes. The best youth and senior athletes from all over the world will show off their talent. The one and only Tour de Ski “Monster Hill” will not pity anyone, yet it will certainly create a unique show among the enchanted scenery of the Dolomites.
